We have had our PRO for about 4 weeks now, and are learning more about it everyday and really enjoy it.
We drove it today and got home about 10:00 AM. We went back into the garage about 6:00PM
and we heard a buzzing sound coming from the area of the driver side rear wheel.
It almost sounded like an electric fuel pump. We started it up (couldn't here it with the engine running). After turning it off the sound did not return. Will check it Sat.
    Is this normal???
    Thanks

It is normal, just the fuel pressure stabilizer or something. It's in the manual

The rear-cross traffic alarms are located in the pillars behind the driver. If your sensor picks something up, the pillar on that side will bicker at you. Not sure I’ve ever noticed it to be a buzz, but if someone was parked/standing in sensor range, that could explain it.

Sometimes I go out to the garage and the Taco and RAV4 are humming together

That's how RCTA works. But the op had his truck off 8 hours and it sounded like it was running.

I have the Rav4/Tacoma buzzing garage symphony as well.

Now I’m on your page... I have not had this experience with my Pro or my wife’s 4Runner.

Do you need to know, or care?
Steering wheel locks, vents closings, EVAP checks, the truck has a mind of its own. All normal, just ignore the sounds it makes when it shuts off.

My 2012 Taco and 2015 Camry do the same thing.... I just assumed fuel pump, but now I know it's not the beginning of the uprising - I think

My wife has a 16 RAV4 and she loves it. My only complaint is I wish it had a bigger gas tank. It’s a stretch to go from Phx to SD on 1 tank.

I completely agree. The Rav4 tank is way too small. The range for city driving is about 270 miles before the light comes on for us. Another gallon or 2 capacity would have been much better.

My wife's lexus rx350 does the same thing. I remember going out to the garage one night wondering what the heck is going on.
