What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Nothing special to the truck today but I did drive it back from a few days, for my 38th wedding anniversary, at Atlantic Beach NC. Got decent gas mileage with the KO2's and no air dam.

 

Thanks! Sounds great and an easy install with Velcro, is it water proof too? Is the tailgate piece connected to the bed?

I'll be getting one soon along with a hard shell.

 

For anyone curious... this is what 1" tapered rear block and 1.55" (4th setting) on 5100s looks like. Stock front coil springs. The ride is smooth.
Ordered black 17x8 with 0 offset Level 8 MK6s and 265/70/17 KO2s. Should be here early next week hopefully.

I've only had my truck two months, as I'm doing my build I think I might be proactive and upgrade the battery. I've seen some posts on the dual battery setup. I only plan on a one light bar and, eventually, a Dometic fridge...is the single Optima sufficient or should I just go for the double?

 

Installed my self-fabricated frame mounted, bolt-on Rock Sliders today. I made them to be relatively low-profile to hug close to the bottom on the cab and not stick out too far. I do not need extreme protection for my needs. I am thrilled with the results...

Next on my mod list are new AT tires.
