    Hello Tacomaworld,
I was wondering what would be the best overall hitch to tow a boat, trailer, and etc? I was looking at the Andersen 6” rapid hitch due to versatility, but was wondering with my future plans getting an overland trailer like a patriot X1. Will it be to low to the ground with harsh terrain? Any input is appreciated.

My truck is lifted 3” with 33” tire might go up to 35” :fingerscrossed:

I use the same hitch on a stock trd off-road, no issues

Just get a hitch with the right amount of drop for trailer you are towing, the less parts on the hitch the stronger it is, it's cheap enough, i have couple with different drop lengths.

This is what you want to do. I have many different drop hitches, one sized for each trailer I use. The only adjustable ones wirth a shit are way too big for a Tacoma.
