I am in the same situation. Thinking of moving to FL to live on the water, have better winters and to fish every minuted I am not working. I also am hesitating while everyone else is telling me to just do it. The difference is that I also have a wife and 2 kids who just finished college.

    You only live once..

If I was in your shoes an you can swing it financially an all your ducks lined up per say. I wouldn’t hesitate you don’t wanna live the rest of your days wondering what if. Granted I’m your JR. in age I’ve met to many people in my life that didn’t take a chance on something they had their heart set on. Maybe purchasing a smaller home in that area to get away might fill that void temperoraly until you fully commit to it .:notsure:

Looking forward to what your decision is.

    Yeah.
Sounds like your dream will only cost you that 10% difference. I'd say that's quite a deal.

My wife has had cancer twice (2 different, unrelated kinds) and has thankfully beaten it both times, so we kind of take a different view. Sacrificing too much now for something later when there might not be a later? Yeah, we may sometimes seem irresponsible, but whatever.
