Beautiful scenery. I am surprised no one has asked for a picture and update on dust intrusion yet....looks awesome man, thanks for the pictures.

Nice to see some of the mods starting to be posted. It'll be cool to see what people come up with.

No issues with dust intrusion from the GFC. I can't get a good picture but there is a distinct line of dust cutoff on the frame where the panels seal. I haven't done anything to seal up the tailgate so I have a little dust from that but nothing major. No leaks from rain either.

Took the GFC as far north as you can drive in the US.

Hope your trip works out, I love the GFCm, but the drifter was the better option for my needs Still love reading up on the GFC thread though, and drifter threads, both awesome looking forward to seeing more GFC mods, as it gets my creative juices flowing as well.

How long did it take for you guys to get your initial call/email? I paid for my camper two weeks ago and haven't received any contact yet.

Hey that was an awesome write up Jim. Enjoyed your photos too. Even though my brother is a Jeep guy, I'm going to pass this article on because he will really appreciate the GFC and my goals to purchase one for my Tacoma. Thanks man.

ugh, I don't miss that at all. Beautiful it was/is, it was not for me. My sleep schedule was all messed up because of it.

    ...too much shit to list.
Really hard to do considering this thread started out as basically an idea and has a ton of content around individual order status. @DoorDing is pretty good about keeping his OP’s updated and focused so I think the separate threads will be more concise depending on the topic of interest. If GFC wants to pursue vendor status, we can just move all the threads later. Reguardless, I’m subbed to all the wedge camper threads for spank bank reasons.

I want to do something similar. My mountain bike currently lives in the truck, under the topper full-time (unless I'm riding it). I'd love to have a full platform that flips open on one side for the bike, but can flip closed for sleeping on. I have to fit four people in this thing, so I need a bottom sleeping solution. The quick solution is going to be a removable platform, but I want to eventually build something more permanent and modular.
