Anyone have a good Canadian source for the T Slot nuts for attaching things to the Tacoma bedrails? I see them on eBay for $20-$25 for 5. Seems pricey.

That's pretty much what you'll pay up here.

I've seen them a little cheaper on Amazon at times but still pretty pricey.

Try doing it the reverse with a carriage bolt sort of like a T bolt. I did something with some weld nut and 5/16 bolt. Works think it depends what you're trying to mount.

FYI, there is a button at the top right of the page where you can "watch" the thread. That way you don't need to hit reply and "sub'd" the page

I got mine on Amazon. I would assume Canada can get it that way.

acklands grainger , get them to order ( or if they have in stock ) spring nuts. Then just snap off the spring when you get em, and voila! Youve got a threaded nut that slides into the rails. Its not a perfect fit, but it works just fine.

I did what Joe suggested and modified some carriage bolts. Very easy to do and they will hold way more weight than the rail can support.
