I love my 2011 standard cab 2.7 but i am dying to get a 2019-2020 OR after i pay off my daily driver Civic

I feel its time to upgrade to a new Tacoma while i will still be able to get a nice chunk when its time to sell the Gen 2

Going to check some out this weekend and maybe test drive one just to get a feel for the new engine, etc

I say if you can afford it and you want one, then get one

I think the 3rd gen is the best looking truck cheese grater and all. I liked my 2nd gen but the 3rd gen got stuck in my brain and had to trade. I agree it is better to get the one you want first time around that would have saved me a few bucks. Also the interior of the 3rd gen is a whole lot nicer and that is where you will spend most of your time. So yeah 3rd all the way.
