I was planning on doing LASIK but didn’t know I needed 2 years of unchanging Rx before I can be a candidate. Still got another year-ish to go.

It is, I’m just on vacation the rest of the time.

I’m on year 4 of no changes, but I’m so borderline I won’t know officially until today if it’s a go.

Too funny! Entirely correct! When I sold surgical ophthalmics- nearly all the ophthalmologists wore glasses!

Hopefully your cornea is perfectly shaped. If uneven- you may need PRK (photo reactive keratectomy)- much more painful/ longer healing time.

Also- stick to the eye drop regimen- no matter what. You will also likely need artificial tear eye drops for a couple years- to be more comfortable.

Laser assisted in situ keratecomy (LASIK) slices through your corneal nerves- they need to re-heal. PRK uses a laser to “level/reshape” the cornia. Untill the nerves fully heal- you may have a degree of dyfunctional tear film...

Anybody here into NASCAR or NHRA? I am going to go through all my memorabilia and sell it. Have a ton of di-cast cars and some other stuff. Have a fender signed by Mike Dillon which if you don't know he is Richard Childress' son in Law and father to Ty and Austin who are rising through the ranks. Only thing is it is signed to me.

    It’s quite ironic!

They likely do not want to risk anything interrupting their career.

    #TRUTH!

Peeps do it everyday- its just the process. Daily contact wearers can develop dysfuntional tear film too. Prolonged contact use disrypts the O2/CO2 corneal gas exchange- to varying degrees.

None of this is “bad” but it does create an opportunity for a patient to actively manage their own eye care. :)

I believe that can be fixed to. The strabismus muscle can be surgically altered.

More than likely a Carquest or NAPA. The old federal parts would too.
