    Hi All,

I updated my radio to a kenwood 9905 (wireless Android auto rocks!). Has anyone ever rotated the steering wheel controls button so that the volume switch points up and down rather than left/right? I would think all you need to do is pop open the airbag cover, rotate the switch, and put the airbag cover back on.

Also, any idea what a 2018 entune 3.0 radio is worth if I were to resell it?

    Thanks.

I would just leave it as is... I wouldn't recommend taking apart the steering wheel for such a project until the warranty is up.

I'm sure a steering wheel control module was used on the install, your best bet is having it reprogrammed and reassigning those buttons.

As far as your stock radio goes, I would just keep it in the kenwood box. Just in case you decided to get rid of the truck and put it back to stock.

    Thanks! Probably good advice...

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
Is it the Premium radio or the "non-premium"? The premium is the one with the total smooth (touch sensitive buttons) 7 inch face --the other has the manual buttons down each side, and a 6 inch screen.
Premium ones can bring 300-400 and up , and non premiums can bring 200-400.
I swapped out my non premium for the premium, and have been very happy with the change.
There is a market for the radios --either one. Why the heck would you want to keep a radio around that will only go down in value, besides by the time you sell your present truck the electronics will have advanced and your Kenwood would also be outdated. That is, unless you trade every year or so.
