Once you get the tube doors tackled I have a slightly less useful mod in mind for my sunroof!.

Why not just take a recip saw to the stock doors? Way faster.

Yeah seriously. That's what I was planning on but then I got impatient/bored at work. At least now I feel obligated to get started tonight so I don't disappoint.

    Gawd.

Another Lair to manage in my life.

Careful with the Subie. It’s a unibody, so you have to keep that in mind when doing the tube doors. You don’t want your Subie to break in half.

I would just weld the tube doors to the body and gain entry/exit via the quick release strap nets that replace the glass windows ‘ala race car style.

I'm trying to squish this thing, but @Justanotherhemi is making that impossible. I want this to be just about tube doors, but 6 pages later, here we are. :goingcrazy:

    Yes. Jaime is an ass.

It’s confirmed. The moment he tagged me.

Face it. This thread is now unsquishable.

I'm going to start posting up feminine products on Amazon so they show up in the list of discussed products below. Then we'll see what those new members think when they come here to see these tube doors. Right now that list is lonely.

Dammit y’all are ruthless. I just got home and am changing out of uniform. About to run to th hardware store for bolts. Tonight’s plan is to get the door “base” welded up, which is just the flatbar that will bolt to the hinges.
