    I like this unit because of the inductive wireless fast charging. I have a USB cable plugged into an Anker quick charge 3.0 car charger, and it charges even when the phone is on even when using a resource-intensive app like Waze. I could not use a magnet mount since I have a Qi wireless charging pad plugged into the USB-C port of my phone to give it wireless charging capability.

    I did not like the Ram mount X grip holder in the Honda vent mount. Took two hands to place it or remove it and the fingers on my right hand would brush it sometimes while steering unless I moved it over where it then block the Entune screen.

    So I got a polymer ram mount base and chopped the ball part off and screwed it to a stainless steel ball that was part of a cheap o magnetic mount system intended to be stuck to the dash. Not a fan of sticking adhesive stuff to the dash.

    I like the final result.

    Does it still hold a 'plus' iPhone? Or is the weight heavy enough to separate the phone from magnet?
