Upgraded instrument cluster from speedometer and 2 gauges to one with tachometer plus 4 gauges. Also completely replacing AC system, repairing dash pad cracks and restoring paint, as a start.
I have a rust free 1987 Toyota Pickup (Base cab & bed), 22-R 4 Cyl, 5 speed man trans., 61000 original miles on the odometer, and is in pretty good overall condition. Brought it back to Michigan last year, and have been working on safety items, like replacing 30 year old flex brake hoses, tires, etc.

Right now, I am changing out the complete AC system for new (original compressor died), and hope to have that done in about a week. Next, comes restoring the cracked right hand dash pad, and the paint (It got a lot of sun out west!).

It's a fun vehicle to drive, and I look forward to a lot of use from it. I'm not planning to license it as a classic vehicle, though that could come later on. However, I'm not using it as a daily driver either.

I have added three photos related to my joining -- somewhere!

I can't get the right large Avitar next to my messages. What appears there belongs to someone else. Suggestions?

On the top row click on "You", then Avatar and then Chose. Then whatever pic you want.
