I just bought a new 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport last week. I wanted to ask for opinions on the 2018 Toyota Tacoma Mudflaps option. Anybody that has them on their Tacoma your input would be appreciated. I forgot to get them from the dealer. I can get these for $170.00 at the Toyota dealership. Also does anybody know what Toyota's part number is for this accessory. Where can you go to find part numbers for Toyota Service Manuals, Accessories and O.E.M. parts for Tacomas?Garys 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport 7.jpg

If you are near Southeast Virginia you can have mine for a case of El Guapo.

How much is a case of El Guapo and where would I buy it? Also why did you take them off of your truck, would like your opinion on them and how do they mount?

A 12 pack of El Guapo is 17.99 at most supermarkets. They mount using the factory screws located on the inside of your fender wells. I was not a fan of the way they looked with my lift and 31” tires.

I don't think the Toyota Mudflaps would look good on my 2018 TRD Sport. Any other brands that are good quality and would look good on my 2018 Tacoma?

    Part number PT345-35170

I have them on my Sport (also blue) and they look and work great. Keeps the rocks and whatnot from hitting the sides of the truck. I've heard they're not the best option offroad though because they're not terribly flexible.

Mine came with them, I like them, they look fine to me and do their job. They are a fairly hard plastic, so they might not handle being banged against rocks and such as well as a more rubbery type, but I don't go on anything more than dirt roads so I'm happy with them.

You can get the “Toyota Owners” app that will give you the service manuals, owners manual, and warranty manual, all to your phone, also the service records on your truck, once you enter your VIN information into the app after you download it.

The dealer will sell me the Toyota accessory flaps for $70.00. My truck has the full film protection option for $619.00. Not sure what to do. Leave it off or buy a set of these flaps. I think it looks better without, but want to protect the truck. I do not offroad so street use only for my TRD Sport. I do go down a dirt road to my house and the new tires are picking up rocks, but that will go away eventually. Any reviews, suggestions or advice would be appreciated on the Toyota Mud Flaps. Thanks.

Took mine off. I don't go hard core off-road, but even mild trails, they were getting scraped up. Just a matter of time before they snap off. I replaced them with a set of step sliders.

They came on my sport, looks ok, but they are rather rigid and any offroading at all will probably break them. If you drive mostly on the roads, they'll be fine. I will say that the 3rd gen version looks better than what the 2nd gen came with, those were ridiculously large

Decided to get a set of Toyota mud flaps for my new TRD Sport 4x4 tomorrow at my dealership for $70.00 plus tax. I just drive on the street, and I do live on a dirt road. Yesterday I got caught in a thunderstorm and had to drive down my dirt road, when I got home my truck was a mess, that sold me on going with Toyota flaps.
