I can peel out from a stand still without shifting it into neutral. This truck has so much torque and it's light in the back. What do you expect?

Read the message again. Not rying to peel out. Problem with transmission and throttle module communicating with each other. I didn't expect that when I bought a new truck. If I kepp my foot steady on the pedal the truck will SURGE forward after 2-3 seconds. If a protecective system it doesn't do a very good job from R to D which would result in Maximum torque applied to diff (rear) and plantary (in transmission)
This how TSB start. If people don't complain you don't get the fix. Like the TSB for reer suspension, if enough TSBs' are confirmed and its a safety item, then they weigh out lawsuits vs recall and put a dollar value on your life.

you have to be more speciffic, i'm not sure i follow you. if you shift from P or N to drive with your foot on the gas pedal, of course it's going to surge forward. the 2 second delay is the auto shifting the gears, and engaging the transmission. if you do the same with your foot firmly on the brakes, it will not move.

and OP, nice truck! lifted in the fron alredy?

After shift into drive from P or N, the truck bumps into gear, then I push the gas pedal after the transmission is in gear (truck idling forward 2-3 ft) and no engine response for 2-3 seconds. Then the engine will reference actual pedal postion and respond approprialty. If the peadal is matted then the engine responds with one hundred percent power. This caught me of guard a few time when I first got the truck nearly drove through a car in front of me. The throttle module is not responding. This Occurs 50-60% of the time. Not normal. I have an appointment with the local toyota shop foreman in june 7. I have also reached out to the nhsta after the first tech looked at the truck and admitted the seinnas had a problem like that. There was no reflash for that problem, " but keep complaining about it". I also emailed coorperate and they did not respond. No re of my email. Fortunaly I have a copy with a return receit.
