Is this a good RTT?

Morning TW,

Just saw this tent was on sale and wondered if anyone knew anything about the quality of it. It’s a 2-person tent, which is fine for my needs, but $800 sure beats $3500.

It’s on sale now for the holiday and will go back up to $1500 once the 4th of July is over.

Because of the quality of this particular brand? I plan on abusing it. Gotta get my moneys worth...

 

Pretty sure all come from China anyway.

I've never heard bad things from the Yakima RTT, but those reviews are terrible, they all say it leaks. That's a good deal from REI imo.

Or you can look through the market place here, plenty of RTTs for sale from users.

 

Yeah I guess I was just Thinking of the convenience of being able to pick it up today.

 

When I was looking at RTTs, I read a lot of bad reviews on REI's website about the Yakima tents...they tend to leak pretty bad. I wouldn't go with them but that's me.

I have the Tuff Stuff Delta RTT (pretty much the same tent as the Smittybilt Overlander) and it's been fantastic, no complaints at all after ~4 months of having it and at least 3 multi-night trips.
