285/55 cooper discoverer st, 2” OME heavy coils and leafs. JBA UCAs. No wheel spacers.

 

Currently running 3/2” lift with stocks rims and 265/65 17. Waiting for my spidertrax wheel spacers

I really like the look of your setup. I just picked up a 2018 TRD Sport and I'm looking to make it a little beefier. I see you are running 275/70r17/s...but what brand? Also, what brand spacer kit? Any rubbing? Thanks.

265/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers - Waiting for tires to wear out then going with 285/70/17 with new wheels

 

How do you like your Grapplers? Haven't seen too many out there yet.

 

They're great. I have now had them for 15K miles, see below for my opinion of them.

Snow - Better then average. I live in Chicago and they did just fine.
Wet - Average. But driving a truck in the wet is always a challenge.
Dry - Excellent. Very good.
Mud - Better than average. The tires keep good grip, clean out well and have gotten me through some decent mud holes with no issues.
Trails- Better than average. Great traction, air down well and get me where i want to go.
Rocks - Average. There not a rock crawling tire but have decent grip.
Sand - Unknown. Have not had them in sand yet.
Tread life - Excellent. 15K on tires and very little tread wear.
Road Noise - Excellent. Very quiet, no more noise than stock Toyo's that came with the truck. I am sure noise will progressively get a little louder as they wear some but still very quiet overall.


The only comparison and can give you is BFG T/A KO2's. I easily prefer the Nitto's by far and will buy another set (larger) when I am done with the current set.
