I like the od green one as well. I remember seeing some cool matte colors a while back in purple, blue, and brown that looked good, but I also saw a bright magenta one that had me shaking my head. To each their own I guess!

I should have been around Warrenton or on 29 somewhere around 4. I was in my truck. I used to wave everytime I saw somebody in a truck like yours but gave up. Mine is pretty plain about the only way to know it's me is the best top and white wheels nothing special. The jeep there that has stood out to me as kinda fugly is the one they have out front that's like a bronze / goldish color with the white wheels. As you said to each their own

 

Yep, that was you yesterday. I had just left Warrenton on 29 and saw the best top on a white Taco and said, "Nice Taco...wait, I think I know who that was!" I'm normally not on 29 during that time of day during the week.

Speaking of waving, have you ever tried waving at random Tacomas you pass? I did for a while when I first got my 2nd Gen back in 2014. Never really got anything but weird looks and a few middle fingers (what?), so I gave up noting that it really must be just a Jeep thing.

 

I usually wave at modded Tacomas... usually get nothing back... oh well

 

I still wave occasionally but Tacoma drivers seem to be less social and almost never get a wave back so now I mostly only wave a moddified Tacomas. Still almost nobody waves. Out here mostly old guys like me with stock trucks and they don't care anyway

I think I'm going to drive this one until it falls apart. It just kinda suits me. I've got some more stuff I want to do to it but you know that can be never ending

 

I think It is usuallly because they are checking the mods as they drive by and forget to wave lol!
