Okay so I know it's a super super long shot but figured I would put it out there and see if anyone is interested.

    Reason:
I bought a brand new Front runner rack for the cab to match the rear Front runner rack that I already had, but once I got it I realized that they have made some changes to the design of the front rack. The biggest issue was that the racks are now about 49" wide instead of 46" wide. So unfortunately I had to order new cross slats for the rear rack to make the two racks even in width. Now I have the front rack installed and realize that I like the way the older design looked more. The new design sits slightly higher allowing more room for a shark fin antenna (which I don't have). The other benefit to the New design is that it allows you to mount one of the undermount front runner Tables.[IMG]
This is the new style rails

    What I am looking For:
I am looking for someone in Socal area that has a older version rack front and rear in good condition that is the 46" wide version with the cab mounts that look like this.

Just looking to do a swap of both racks if anyone is interested. I know it's a super long shot, but I figured I would put it out there.

So I tried to install my canopy rack today and I must say the directions are terrible. Are the feet blocks supposed to slide in my A.r.e tracks because they are way to big and wouldn’t fit. I’m also missing washers for the feet on the canopy rack also. My canopy rack came with tracks but I thought I would be able to use my existing tracks on my a.r.e topper. So far big failure on the instal I guess I will take a stab at the cab rack when my 22 mm hole punch comes in from Amazon

I had the same problem when I went to install my canopy rack. I took a grinder to them till they fit.

So you just grounded them down with a table grinder ? Then you had no issues ?

I would use a table grinder if you can. I used I angle grinder clamped to a table top. Just take some vice grips to hold the block and then grind them down a little. After I did that they went in perfectly.

Hate to dig up this post, but anyone here have the OEM roof rack then upgraded the Frontrunner??

I reinstalled my old roof strips, then remembered I had to break off the clips towards the front that keep the strips in place. Now they flop up, and wont stay put. I am currently holding them in place w/ double sided tape but not sure how long that will hold.

anyone have any luck re-installing these clips?

Anyone in the BAY AREA, CA. area miss out on the FB for their canopy shell, I will be listing mines up for sale in a few days. Still in the box, only reason why I havent listed in yet on the marketplace. Just wanted to throw it out there for anyone local, shipping would be killer.

    its the 1358 X 1165 w/ the tall option.
