Mobil oil with Toyota filter. Recommend having an oil analysis done also since its a used truck.

Every 3k miles. And before anyone says I can go longer on full syn, I know that. It’s habit, I’ve always changed my oil at 3k intervals.

I get mine done at the dealer every 5K. I don't have a place to do my own, and I'm kind of mechanically inept anyway...

If you can turn 1 wrench you can change your oil.

I used same oil on my 250k, 20 year old 4runner. No problems. get the coupons if available and get it from malwart or costco.

During the warranty period, stick with the recommended schedule: 5/30 dino oil and replace every 5K with quality oil filter (Wix, Purolator, etc.) After the warranty period, consider switching to full synthetic oil and synthetic oil filters. Also consider getting the larger oil filters (e.g. Mobil M1-209, Purolator PL20195 or PL30001) and 6 qts of oil. You can also easily increase oil changes to 7K-10K or once a year, whichever occurs first.

Using full synthetic mobil 1 Extended performance in my truck, My 2010 now has 185k no leaks or issues from using it, use what you want but people can only speak from their personal experience. oil claims to be good for 15k i change around 6-7k using mobil 1 filters. every time i change the oil it still has a slight golden tint to it so im happy with that.

I get mine done at the dealership. Its easier for me, i work alot of odd hours, and have no garage, or driveway or carport or anything, no where to dispose of the oil properly so i take it to the dealer. Im pretty sure as long as you stick to the 5K maintenance schedule yoi should be fine with whatever you ise.
