There's a cloth/nylon bag that the ladder fits in and then there are 4 webbing straps attached to the tent that then clip to the ladder bag to keep it from sliding around.

81” divided by 12 equals 6.75 feet. 6 foot is 72 inches. 81 inches minus 72 inches equals 9 inches. Best I can do on the internet. In person I’d have you count it out on your fingers ;)

6.75 is still correct. .75 is 3/4 and 9 is equal to 3/4 of 12.

Has anyone slept in these in the rain/extreme wind? Does water go through the canvas?

Anyone else getting a large amount of dead bugs inside the tent when driving? I’m going to have to vacuum all these out when I get home, it’s insane the amount that are somehow getting into the tent. I think they are coming from a gap between the plastic black shell and the aluminum trim piece. When it was dark I used my head lamp to shine light from the outside while sitting in the tent and I can see light coming through that gap. I’m thinking about hitting it with some spray foam stuff from Home Depot unless anyone has a better suggestion?

I wouldn't say extreme but a pretty good storm off of the coast of Lake Michigan, only rain that came in was when I had the inner/solid windows zipped open too far. No leaks at all.

I haven't even had a dead bug on the outside of it. This sounds odd...

Here’s a couple pics but this was after I had cleaned up some before going to bed last night.

Some of the bugs are pretty decent sized too. Just realized that if these are making it through then rain definitely will be too which will be an even bigger problem.
