Head unit issue.

Adjusting the volume while playing music restarts the track. I'm connected to a pixel 2xl on the latest developer preview. Powering the head unit off then on fixes it. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

 

Da hell is that...lol just messing but have you tried a completely different device type like android or someone else’s iPhone? That would rule out your device. I would try there first. Since it restarts the track, I’m guessing it’s your google phone, or firmwar of your google phone. The headunot only does what it is told to do, volume should not affect a track coming over Bluetooth from your phone unless your firmware has a glitch...

 

That happened to me for a few months. And then one day, it stopped. I also had a Pixel. Unsure of why that happened but like I said, it just completely stopped one day.

 

Willing to be it’s the pixel and changes or updates to the OS with time. So you may wait for an update for your phone. Sometimes old and known bugs accidentally make thier way into new Phone OS/firmware updates when they “recycle old” revs of code and update portions and put it back out to users. If you have Entune, have you received the “over the air updates” for it from Toyota? You would need the Toyota Entune App on your phone.
