    To my “biker” friends out there. How do you guys feel about specialized? :notsure:

    I’m going to ride a Kona later this week and a Niner again a little later. I’ve riden a specialized in the past, but not for any real length of time. So, I’m fairly neutral. Just looking for generalized opinions about the brands please. I don’t have a 6.5k budget. Looking to stay under 2k but can stretch if it’s worth it.

    Quite aware of their ability to swim. Went tubing the salt river in the 90’s and my buddies GF had a bad asthma attack and we got her to the bank and noticed her skin crawling...realized what they were and dunked her in the water and they all started floating down the river. Bunch of tiny bark scorpions.

    Their full suspensions aren’t super, because they have a poo pop design, hard tails are hard to make shitty. Kona does great stuff and you get a lot for the money.

    Thinking hardtail just to keep the cost down.

    Problem I’ve recently found is so many shops are service only and don’t sell unless you order directly and then your kinda stuck.

    My biggest issue is I’m tall and most shops have 1 or 2 mediums and maybe a large. I need an xl or xxl. If it’s worth my while, I can drive. I mean shit, I’ve got a Tacoma.
