Hello all, Dave Buchanan checking in.

After a long hiatus from the off-road/expedition community, I have recently made the return with a 2018 Tacoma Off-road Long Bed. My background has a lot of Land Rovers in it, but a few years ago I was moving overseas and shipped them all off to happy owners who could use them as intended instead of me storing them for a few years until I returned.

Five years later we have returned CONUS and a Tacoma purchase was on the short list. While my more extreme days of wheeling are behind me, we are anxious and excited to jump into the community and start meeting like-minded people to hit the trail with.

Active duty military, located in the Virginia Beach area, looking forward to any group get-togethers that may be had to create those experiences we will never forget.

    Ha! Not yet!

Actually we are really looking at getting her out and putting her through the paces. Get some camping in, start seeing what we need verses what we want. Start small and see where it takes us.

Fortunately I've been down this financial black hole before so I know the warning signs after three builds and I can put the credit card away when I get the urge to jump on a bumper or RTT!

Time will tell. I’m alread seeing small things I wish I had so we will start there. First she needs a solid test run though.
