Prepared to hear the flaming from this already for using an old iPod but thought I would throw it out to the community for any leads on this issue should others have experienced it.....

I use an older iPod touch (4th gen I believe) for my music library in my 2017 TRD OR DCSB. During the summer months when temps are above 90 degrees I consistently get an error when trying to use my iPod with the Entune radio setup.

The trick seems to be to go through a series of steps of unplugging and replugging the iPod over and over until 1)The iPod is recognized as being a connected device 2)The iPod eventually showing up as 'iPod' in my source matrix on screen 3)The iPod finally showing as 'My iPod' on the Entune Source screen.

At first I suspected it was due to the iPod being overheated from staying in the truck in the heat. This cause has been disproved over the past couple weeks as I have been bringing iPod into the office in the A/C and still the issue persists when I plug into the head unit.

Anyone else having this issue or similar?

Does this sound like an overly hot cable issue? .....I tried to swap out cable before but the cables were both in the truck in the heat so maybe i need to use cooler cables????

Thanks for any leads if they exist.....
