    Hello,

Just installed full set of skid plates from @Pelfreybilt . This is great thing. But I have minor issue with vibration. Let me explain. The rear skid plate(for stock pipes) has a pocket for pipe and the pipe is very close to the plate. I mean it's not in the center of the pocket but shifted to the rear of it. So, I feel some noise and vibration when I start accelerating(not aggressive one, just regular acceleration). Could someone recommend something to do? My first idea is to use additional washers between mid plate and rear plate, i.e. move rear plate a little bit to the back. Now the gap between pipe and edge of the rear plate' pocket is about 5mm.

Sorry to hear about the issue you're having.

We design these skids to fit very snug so you don't give up any breakover clearance. On rare occasions a vibration issue will come up. Unfortunately there are some inconsistencies in the exhaust hanger brackets which results in the exhaust being lower than desired. There are a couple of easy fixes.

Most people will remove a little material from the skid plate in the issue that is giving them trouble. Sanding or grinding will take care of this in a couple of minutes. Another option is to slightly bend the exhaust hanger up to allow the exhaust to sit a little higher.

@Pelfreybilt I'm talking about horizontal misalignment not about vertical one. Let's see my pictures:

I think hanger can't help, I will try washers.

Just installed skids on my 2018 TRD Pro. Fit, finish, and coverage of the plates is great. Love that they make a plate that fits up with the TRD Pro bash plate. Little bit of WD and the holes in the frame drilled like butter. Mid plate had a bent flange from shipping but it straightened out when I bolted everything together. Thanks Pelfreybilt!A3B8C3FC-69CC-4733-BD91-47EA5250B6DB.jpg6868EE4B-08FD-4F54-80BF-D678A7A4F50A.jpg 4C64A499-B0E3-453F-A9D0-9BED4616D75A.jpg
