Hello. I have a first generation with Alcan rear leaf packs. I have a set of OME greaseable shackles and bushings I'd like to install, but the factory shackle has an 18mm pivot pin on the frame side, and a 14mm pivot pin on the leaf pack end. The OME kit comes with pins that are 18mm for both ends. I am curious if you guys think I could get away with turning the OME lower pivot pin down to 14mm so that it will fit my leaf spring bushings. My only concern is the fact that the OME pin is drilled out for greaseability and therefore a little weaker. The OME pins look super beefy and are definitely hardened. Thx.
