What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Any sound clip available from you? Some Amazon reviews say it's too loud or rattling.

 

Got a chance to test fit my Tuff Stuff 4x4 Ranger Tent to then remove it so my parents could borrow my truck for a week lol. Glad i test fit it as i need to move it back a little before my first camping trip with it, just two days after my parents return. Super happy with the tent and it's initial setup.

 

Toyota replaced the Bad Cell/Battery with A Brand New Battery that has a 7 year warranty....im just glad it wasn't anything else

Finished my tailgate lock installation today. Thanks to all that responded to my recent thread regarding routing the cable through the firewall, I cut the upper little boot, as was recommended, and ran the cable through without any issues. BTW the lock works perfectly just like OEM.

Also received my TRD Pro SS cat back exhaust, and installation below.

I love the sound of the new exhaust, it was an awesome upgrade coupled with the TRD Pro air box. I'll test drive it tomorrow and report back with results.

New tires came today(Wildpeaks) Wheels come tomorrow!! Install Monday!

I had it for a few weeks. It is loud if you put on any kind of gas/acceleration....and it had a annoying drone. I went with the TRD Pro exhaust.

 

I have the same filter/exhaust set up....perfect sound, love it.

 

All i did was find a tri fold soft cover for 150$ which ain't bad.

 

You'll be happy with them. Mine have been good and surprisingly quiet!

 

Well last night I got backed into .....but not a single ounce of damage on my vehicle only a couple of clips popped out on my lower front bumper. Both of which were very easy to pop back into place. But the 2016 Camry that backed into it is a much different story.

 

Cut mine after axle for clearance. Mine does not drone. Much better when you're in control of your vehicles shifting.

My drone was typically between 60-80 mph....not real loud but you could hear it.

 

Installed a Tyger soft tri-fold tonneau cover yesterday. It rained overnight. I checked the bed this morning and was pleased to find no leaks!

No physical work done but I did order a 1010 ca/890 cca DEKA 727FMF battery and a 2nd gen battery tray for the truck. Have a new Duracell 24F in the truck that will gladly get moved into the Maxima (where it belongs). Still cannot believe they put 2nd gen 4 cylinder batteries in our 3rd gen V6 trucks.
