Y'all, I'm headed out on another national parks adventure in the Taco. Here is the map. Looking for any suggestions on sites/trails (hiking or driving) and food/breweries to hit along the way! Thanks in advance!FB_IMG_1512171388736.jpg

I'm originally from central wisco, make sure you stop by a cheese factory for some cheese curds that ARENT refrigerated. This is very important. That should be easy to find around the Madison area, there's tons of factories there. If you're into waterparks you should definitely stop at the Wisconsin Dells as well, looks like you'll be really close to it. Best tourist trap ever, Americas largest waterpark is over there. They've also got some really fun boat tours and whatever. Beer. 100% recommend spotted cow if you want the real Wisconsin experience. It's what we all drink up nort'. The drive across into Minnesota from there is gorgeous, Minnesota gets really hilly and pretty, then flat again as you get to South Dakota. Tune into some local radio stations while in SD, you'll hear lots of cool native music. The Badlands are tight. Mt. Rushmore is a came and saw kinda deal. Wal-drug is cool if you have any women with you haha. Lots of jewelry there from the black hills. Just past the border of SD into Wyoming is Devil's Tower, that's pretty cool. Wyoming takes forever to drive though, though I can't imagine it'll be worse than Montana, never driven through there thank god. My parents said Glacier National is their favorite, pictures looked pretty wicked. Yellowstone is pretty cool. Take the food policies seriously, bears and buffalo do roam around and brush up against tents a lot. I'd recommend hiking with bear spray. That pretty much sums up my knowledge. This was a trip I took with my dad when I was 10. We were moving from point A to point B and got to see a lot of that stuff along the way. It was a really fun trip. Good luck!

A few hours north of your route in Michigan would be Sleeping Bear Dunes. I just got back from hiking the dunes and it was a great time!
