I have a 16 Taco without the option to auto turn the headlights off. Is there a kit I can purchase to retrofit this or I would be happy with an audible alarm that lets me know they are on?
    any ideas would be appreciated.
    Thank,
    Dan

I would hope they came up with a solution by 2106, if not we're all DOOMED!!!

If you leave them on they will automatically turn off after a couple minutes.

I don't have s 16 or auto headlights, but I'm wondering if there is something inside the entune system that kets you shut it off?
Hopefully you'll get a good answer.

I don't have that option. The lights stay on after Taco is turned off and there is no audible either.

As far back as I can remember, if you leave your lights on Toyota’s will turn them off automatically after a bit. I ran my non-auto parking lights on my old ‘09 Matrix all the time and they’d always turn themselves off.

It doesn't turn off right away, it takes a couple minutes. My truck doesn't have the auto setting either, but if you leave them on and turn the truck off the lights won't stay on more than a couple minutes.
