    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
The wife and I both love our Shield 9mms.

The Shield is her primary handgun, till I pony up and get her a full size (thinking a Jerico 941 F9)

My primary handgun will always be this one. Because she's comfortable, reliable... and just plain sexy as F.

XDS: better fit, trigger, relatively speaking more accurate. Just sayin...

Better fit is a matter of opinion. Trigger = you're probably right. (but as mentioned before, the Apex trigger on a Shield is FAR better than any trigger Springfield offers)

More accurate... no... not a chance. The ridiculous center bore height on the XD makes it inherantly more problematic to be accurate. Can you be accurate with an XD? Yes. But if you put a Shield and then an XD in the hands of someone unfamiliar with both pistols... they WILL be more accurate with the Shield. I've seen it first hand over a dozen times.

I shot them both back to back. I ended up getting the XDS and it's my carry weapon when it's not super hot outside and I'm in shorts and tank top/t-shirt (when I switch to my tiny LCP II). I like the grip safety, the texture on the grip, and just overall how it shoots.
