I had same size, but in "C" rated. Lost about 1-1.5 MPg. I believe they weighed in at about 46lbs ea.

yeah the C rated ones are a bit lighter. so with the C you lost 1-1.5, how much more with the E then.. whew!

It'll be quite a bit more. E rated is way overkill for most on here.

They'll rattle your fillings out also. I'd probably pass.

I just installed those tires with C rating on my TRD Sport. I do not have any MPG info yet. However, I chose that tire and size because every Discount Tire store I checked had them in stock. I am rough on tires and will likely get 2 or 3 replaced (with replacement certificates) before they wear out. Any tire that has to be ordered is a hassle.

I had the same tyres from the day I bought the tacoma 2 yrs ago. Brilliant tyre, negligible MPG impact, 0.5-1.0mpg at most. they do not shake your fillings out. I've been running e rate tyres on tacomas for a long time, they wear like Iron, and don't get flats that easy. I had these tyres for 80,000km or 55,000miles, could have probably gotten another 20-25,000 out of them. I was due for a new set as they were not gripping that well in the ice/snow any more. These tyres, saw blast rock, 50,000kms of gravel roads, mud, snow, ice, long highway miles, etc and comfort was never an issue and they didn't fall apart.

I've run E rated ko and KO2 on my truck since I first purchased it. Great tire. They take all my abuse. The KO2 stands up to side wall cuts better than the ko did but I never had a sidewall puncture with them. My KO2s have close to 60k km on them now and are still sitting around 65-70% tread life. They air down nice and ride great on the highway. I just did a 5k mile trip with them too. My truck is on the heavy side but I run them at 35 psi street, 20 psi logging road blasting and 15 psi or less on the trail.

I'm actually interested in the km3 but I also need a winter rated tire so it's hard to leave the ko2 especially after the epic beating I gave them a few weeks ago

Same, I am very interested in them, but not having a winter rated tyre again is a nono for me. That and I am a wee bit disappointed in their size selection for 17" rims.

Just got em put on today they ride smooth and not alot of noise. Big improvement over the rugged terrains.

ko2 E's are very tough. Great trail tire and awesome in snow too. 265/75/16 for me. 32 psi on road. 20 off road and 15 on trail. 1-1.5 mpg drop from stock Toyo tires.
