I had them for a while on my 2nd gen 8-9 years ago. The paint is pretty thin. Back then, sourcing them was really difficult. The installer messed up 3 of 4 on my initial mount. Black would be better because you can touch up easily.

A few additions to make me feel cool.

I had them on my 07, never had an issue with them.

What size tires you guys go with? And is the clearance the same in the wheel well from 1st to 3rd gen? I have levelling blocks in the front, so I have a slight lift. whats the offset difference? Heres how my tires fit now:

I looked really hard for pics of these wheels in black on the 3rd gen and didn't really have much luck so i went with the 4 runner pro wheels. I'm very interested to see pics though!

Also curious if the ebay knock offs were just as good as the OEM.

I had 285s on these wheels. Not sure about the clearance difference, but with 1.25in spacers and about 2 inches of lift mine rubbed the cab mount pretty significantly.

I love the look of them, different yet OEM, there are very few aftermarket wheels I like though I always try to stick with OEM. Which in this case you should to, for not much more $ you can just get geniune OEM ones, don't buy cheap knockoffs they're heavier and a lot more likely to crack.

    Damn that looks nice Oliver.

Can I ask what you’re looking to get for the set?

    Reason for moving on?

I have those on my Gen 2 in 265/75/16 which i think is the biggest you can go without any rubbing on stock suspension if i remember correctly.
Offset is either the same or damn close to the factory wheels,i cant tell a difference from the steel wheels that came on mine

No rubbing on mine and i have been running the 265/75 since i bought my truck new in 2011. MPG will go down 2-3 due to weight, etc.

The clearance will tight when you turn the wheels hard to the left or right, thats where they will rub if too big on a stock suspension

I was able to put together a set of 5 recently, will mount them when the salt is washed off the roads. I’ll post pics then but I’m pretty excited to see them on the rig. They’ll be 265 KO2s for a little while, maybe switch to something larger when needed.775AB6C1-4CD4-403F-9BDE-0841DF04D233.jpg

Not yet, probably still n the next couple of weeks. I’m still waiting for the salt to wash off the roads.
