Windshield wiper fluid STINKS

Every time i turn them on it smells like something died in my a/c. I've tried running them until the reservoir runs dry and then filling up with fresh water, several times, but still the same. Any ideas?

 

May not be your wiper fluid that smells. You may need to have your a/c refreshed (Probably mold causing the bad smell). Last time I had it done on my 05 it cost $30 at the dealer. That was a year or so ago.

And it solved the funky smell coming from my vents.

 

a/ probably needs refreshening, and also.......maybe add a cabin filter(behind the glove box)....the 05 didnt come with one, but it has the access door for a cabin filter, and you can either buy one, or buy a relatively cheap filter from walmart and make your own and save alotta money.

 

ahhhh,dammit!!! when i looked......i skimmed and misread it as a 2005!!! oops!!

 

Haha yea i have a first generation truck. But, i know it's not my a/c because i use the a/c all the time and it smells fine. The smell is very distinct and only comes into the cab when i run the wiper fluid.
