What your word worth?

Recently dealt with a TW member who’s word wasn’t worth 5.00 to him. Literally 5.00.
Just wanted to see what it would take for others.
I’m not going to say never.
But what’s the actual price.

I mean how much money(or what)would it take for you to go against your word.

 

Depends on what my word was.

 

Probly 25k. At that I wouldn’t push it too hard. At 50k I’d start weaseling. As long as nobody was physically hurt or anywhere near destitute.

Yep. Not saying I would go back on my word then but I’d start to think about it, which is really the intent of your question as I see it.

 

Exactly my intent. What about for 5.00. Would you going against your word to a total stranger.

 

Nope. My word is usually my word. It would take a lot more than 5 bucks to change my mind on that.

 

Your integrity is the only thing no one can take from you.

You have to give it away.

My 'word' in your example is my integrity.

This guy is a troll. I said I’d sell him mud guards for $45 IF NOBODY OFFERED ME MORE. I had heart surgery and never posted the items. Until today. Literally an hour ago. I said how about $50 and they are yours, no need to post them. He PMed me insulting my word and tried to bully his way into a deal. I told him fine... I took my injured ass to the shed, cleaned up the mudguards and posted them today see if I got a better offer. I clearly told him that $45 was my price IF NO OTHER OFFERS. Now this guys is blowing up my inbox questioning my manhood. Check out this BS ....
