Just moved to NH from sunny SoCal and got myself a new taco. Anyone know of some good trails to hit or groups to ride with? Dont know much about the offroad scene out here.

I’m sure there are some trails up there. Only thing I know of in nh is a 4x4 trail in Jericho mountain state park. It’s supposed to be pretty challenging though, so not something you should attempt without the proper armor, lift, larger tires, winch, etc

I live in maine and I haven't heard of much. A lot of land is part of the white mountain national forest. I know there is Rocky Mountain Terrain Park in maine but it would be a haul for you in NH. They have trail levels from easy to extreme and allow you to have free reign on their property. And you can camp there which is nice. It's kinda roudy but they have all sorts of "custom" rigs that show up which are pretty cool. If you head north in NH and maine you can find all kinds of logging roads that have trails darting in every direction. Just bring some spare tires and patch kits because skidders like to leave a mess.

Look for class 6 roads, they are always full of plenty of trails just watch out for the EPA

    Where in NH are you?

And jericho is insane, the easiest trail can take you multiple hours and still cost you some $$$

Look at Errol, NH on Google maps and then zoom in and go north. There are miles and miles of logging roads which can take you into Maine if you veer east or Vermont if you go west.

RMTP is pretty rough too. Even the easy trails, from what I hear. Kinda geared toward custom rigs and not so much our stuff. But I've only been there once in the winter, so kinda hard to judge the rest of the property.

There are some range roads in Pembroke area (assuming they didn't get closed). That's the only trails I know close by to Concord. Been out there a few times in friends trucks and on my 4 wheeler. There are a few access points, but the trails are located close to Bear Brook state Park area but on the opposite side of RT 28 they cross through the power lines. I don't know the exact road names the access roads are on. But if you go down North Pembroke road out of Concord (off 106) and you get towards the end where it runs into RT 28 you can see the power lines (and resemblance of trails ) on the right hand side. I used that way to get in there with my 4 wheeler, but the 4X4 roads are off 28 on some side roads..

There is also a very short but pretty decent class 6 road on Bear Hill road in London off RT 129. Its short but pretty technical IMO.. Not rock climbing or anything but Rocky and pretty rough.. Doesn't get used a lot..

Id love for other members to chime in with other spots close by beucase id love to know myself..

I actually work in pembroke, I've seen those powerlines before and many others but most of the ones I've came across with trails were closed. I'll definitely have to check the one off RT28. I actually see many trails but dont really know if they lead to anything or private property. Seems like a good majority of land is privately owned and "posted", dont really know what that means but I see it pretty often, I'm assuming it's more for hunters. I'm just gonna have to learn my way around here.

Yeah do a google Map search "Range Road" in Pembroke NH I was able to see a few of the roads visible if i zoom in. Again its been several years so they could have been closed for all I know. Some trails do come out/ go in boardering private property.

I took my 4 wheeler up to Jericho many years ago, it was a blast up there, so many trails. I am unfamiliar with the 4X4 trials though do they share some with the ATV stuff or is it a whole different area?

Pretty sure atv trails are different from truck trails completely for safety reasons.

Trials are things you might have to go to if you get caught on trails you're not supposed to be on. Seems to be a bit of confusion in this thread
