We have a lot of lifted trucks around here and most of them don't seem to care who's on the road because we're all too busy screaming at the idiots in front of us.

Really bad in the midwest. I was told one time "a Tacoma is a 'city truck.'"

Ima guess they don't even know they're doing it. I've noticed that when I'm on cruise control in the left lane that the person I'm starting to pass will speed up to just stay a little bit ahead of me and then they'll finally ease off. It's so predictable it's funny.

This is how I know I made the right choice for my first pick up truck. Plus the forum is full of good people.

Some of whom don't drive Tacomas, or have wang problems. :D

Having driven in CA, the vast majority of people drive like a bunch of dillholes. OP may as well, and he's just in denial about it. It's like being in FL, but with angrier people playing holier-than-thou. I spent pretty much the entire trip saying "WTF?" and getting cut off/tailgated by everything from lifted trucks to Priuses (Prii?) until i hit the state border

Its funny you made this thread...3 days ago I had a dodge ram floor it past me on a sharp turn risking the lives of my wife and I. I caught up to him 1 minute later as he was trying to turn into the gas station, he just stares at me through his side mirror. :notsure:

LOL, no Prii are tailgaiting here in FL. They all drive sooo slooow. And typically in the fast lane, at or just under the speed limit, with their "thou shalt not break the law with your speeding" looks. I just ride their ass until I can pass on the right. Most of the time, the right hand lanes are faster because of these people.

Hence the 'angrier people', lol. I was in a Mustang rental and was doing probably 10-15 over the limit most of the time, but still had angry-looking people in Prii right up my butt. Even when there was space in the passing lane, annoyingly.
