Want to do a few things to it, but I’m a little worried about the power in the mountains if I go up on tire size. I will also be looking through the forums for info on a great set of shocks as the stock Bilsteins are a little soft for my liking... Had 5100’s on the Ram and loved them.

5100s are a popular suspension upgrade on our Tacomas as well.

Congrats! Gonna take some time to get used to the different power level as this engine needs to rev more compared to a big V8. Look up the skinny size tires as they don't affect mileage as much. I can still sometimes get 20-21 mpg with 255/80/17 ST Maxx but I run the OV tune. I can still run up the I-70 grades doing over 75 even with the bigger tires as long as I keep it out of 5th and 6th on the uphill grades. My truck has the Bilstein 6112/5160 with Dakar Medium Leafs.
