My first truck and its a 3rd gen Taco.

Immediately from the first drive off the lot I felt my first chest hair's come in!

it feels great to be off the ground. Pretty stoked on my Tacoma and glad I won't be needing to slow down for every dip on the road anymore :)

    Have a great day all!!!!

I'm not going back to a car either, it's a Tacoma from here on out! I wish I had done this years ago!

Ha! I had a lowered M3. While I do plan on getting back into something like that, it won’t be anytime soon and it will be a second form of transportation. Enjoying speed bumps for the first time in years! Welcome to the forum!

Your thread made me realize I feel the same way. I have my '01 Tacoma and my '16 RX350 which to me are comfortably more substantial than any car. Especially the cars they make now. The only "newer" cars I had any respect for and may have considered owning were the Ford 500 they stopped making in '07 or the new 2018 Taurus. But they're killing car production for a reason and that is there are a LOT of folks who feel like you do.

Welcome and enjoy the new ride! Whenever I fly back home to visit the parents, I'm struck driving the family back-up car, a 2009 Corolla. After 2 weeks in that thing, when I finally climb back into my truck I feel like a giant. I'm always reminded how much of a truck guy I am when I'm stuck driving a car for any amount of time.
