So, I have a 2016 Tacoma base model. I've been slowly adding things to it and since it comes without a compass, I got a self dimming compass mirror. Everything I found shows that the overhead console has a beige switched hotwire. Well, though the beige wire is there, it's not hot, ignition on or off. The only two wires in the cluster going into the overhead that are hot, are always hot, not switched.
So, can anyone tell me where the closest switched hot wire is from the overhead console. I read to go through the headliner and down the a-pillar, but where from there? Thanks for any help, my frustration in a hundred degrees is growing, and it's too early for a beer.

Nevermind, I found it. Duh. Interior fuse box, right there.
