    Soft shackle = hipster shackle

They do appeal to me though.

The guys that run bumper shackles on the street have to really tighten them to avoid falling off. Kind of annoying, hence the wrench while in the dirt

Sweet, yea I havent really had problems with the steel line, just would be nice to get any weight off the front since I have a full bumper as well.

Where did you buy the SYN line?

Nope. Used it the first day when @RPS1030 and I were on Texas in 2017

    Workin' on it....
I thought the Comeup’s had a pretty good rep right there next to Warn as winches go. Don’t know about Smitty’s.....

Is it accurate that most aftermarket bumpers pretty much require a winch with a relocateable solenoid? (ie. The Warn Zeon and Comeup Seal winches are probably no-go’s)?

Yea I had a Shittybilt xrc8 winch, lasted about 1 year before the motor fried. Only pulled maybe 3 times over that year. Went Warn and so far no regrets.

    My thoughts on winches.

Sure its not something used every trip, but by the time I need the fawker im done playing games and ready to get moving again. The last thing i want to deal with when im stuck that bad is a winch thays being quirky or not wanting to work at all. When i go to use it i need it to work every single time no questions asked. Pay up once, or pay up time and a half becaise youll replace the turd shortly. I also dont want a winch i have to be "easy on". I need it to grunt and be done when i go to use it.....
