    Never said it can’t go that fast, but these trucks have very little bottom end. Exactly while the 2nd geners talk crap about the 3.5L. The 4.0L has a lot better low end torque. And even good ole mike sweers will tell you a Atkinson cycle engine has little torque. They make up for it with gear ratios. Which I still feel they could of put better gears in. Why do you think a lot of people are regearing? Butt hurt? No, just speaking the truth here fanboy

    Just wanted to provide an update. I now have almost 4k miles on my new in a month of ownership. It was almost certainly the drag from that stupid bike carrier or my tranny "learning." Went on a trip the following weekend with 5 people and a truck full of gear and had significantly fewer shifting issues.
