So I ordered a set of 4x Innovations sliders for my 03 extended cab during their black friday sale, but haven't got around to researching installation until now. Reading some of the other threads, it looks like people are paying anywhere from $90 to $300 to have them welded on by a shop.

I contacted a general welding shop recommended by a friend, sent them a link to the product & installation instructions, and was quoted $500. Quite steep I thought, but they had never done this specific job, so fair enough.

I then contacted a specialized off road shop that listed armor installation as a service. They specialize in jeeps, but said they work on Toyotas all the time. Then the quote... $817!!!? :eek:Where is everyone getting these $90-300 quotes? I understand that every job is different, but there has to be a place within an hour or two of the Baltimore/DC area that has seen a Tacoma before and wouldn't take 6+ hours to do this.

    Thanks all!

@Mobtown Offroad is in Baltimore I think, but you didn't buy their sliders and I bet the rate would adjust accordingly.

We are in Greensboro, MD which is 1 hour east of the bay bridge. As for price to weld them to your truck, $250. Because they’re not our sliders I’ll be sure to make the welds look like Ray Charles did it with his feet.
