I messaged zscott a few days ago and haven't heard back, but I wasn't expecting a quick response because I know he is busy. Thought I would ask fellow members. Mods, if this is the wrong place to ask please let me know.

    1) what is the diameter of the holes punched in the weather stripping

    2) for anyone that bought a rack recently (access cab), what was your turn around time?

    3) I haven't seen any GB's or promotions for prinsu/CBI recently, should I wait for July? Is there a TW discount?

    Thanks
    E

Edit: another question: if I buy the cargo basket kit, does the second gen use 47" crossbars?

From everything I have heard, CBI does not typically run discounts/group buys.

I'd rather not think of all the $ spent :(
Mine was a 3rd gen but took about a month to get here.

I forget the hole size, BUT if you want, I'll mail you a free punch for it!

Thanks! I have a leather punch set already that has various sizes but not all increments. I was thinking a 3/4" would work but I'm not sure.

No problem sir. I'll look today when I get home. I ordered it on Amazon per someones post here. It worked perfect. No one notices but me, but one hole is slightly off so take your time measuring!

Got my prinsu bolted upast night on my access cab. I was able to line up the rack and bolt 8 out of the 12 holes with grade 8 nuts and bolts. I used the rivnuts on the rear 4 and I felt them spinning when tightening the rack down, hope it doesn't leak. Used a punch and got a clean look. Thanks for the advice!

    Looks good!

Might put some silicone on those rear rivnuts.

I put ample silicone, under each bolt, washer and spacers I placed under the weather stripping. By the second round of tightening, it had already been 20 minutes and the silicone started to harden.

That's reassuring. I haven't been in any big rains yet since I am in SoCal but the headliner has been dry through a couple washes.
