first post. I have a 2017 AC 6 foot bed. looking at the BAKflip mx4 and or undercover flex. I want to put bikes over my tailgate and leave the cover in the 2/3 folded position. anyone know if they will fit? also with the long bed it looks like the BAK has 4 sections instead of 3. probably easier to make things fit

I have a Bakflip Fibermax on my 2012 DC long bed (same bed dimensions as yours within milimeters). I did exactly that - tonneue in the folded-with-front-panel-still-down position (so you can drive without it resting up against the cab). Fits nicely - my XL Kona Process 111 on the tailgate clears the tonneau by several inches (so a longer bike would still have a bit of room). Having the front of the tonneau down is neat because you could put other stuff there (gear bags, floor pump, what have you) and have it still be protected. Lots of happy shuttle laps and road trips.

The Bakflip covers do indeed have four folding panels when you've got the long bed.

BTW - I have the Fibermax for sale now (long story - but my bum lower back doesn't work too well with the Taco's squat cabin/lack of head room) - I'm in NW Washington.
