Water on Passenger's Mat

When I make a right hand turn or slow to a stop it sounds like sand is in the air conditioning fan. It appears that water is trapped in the fan unit because it throws it out and accumulates on the passengers mat when I hear the noise.

This is my 3rd new Toyota truck. I had a 1985 and 1995 pickup and now this 2009 Tacoma. I never had a problem with my previous Toyotas but have already had this truck back to the dealer because it did not track straight and the radio volume control works when it wants to. Two months later I am still waiting on a radio.

I am guessing the condensation tube on the ac is blocked because it does not drip under the vehicle anymore. Any ideas since the dealer is closed until Tuesday?

Yeah, just locate the drain tube on your firewall and pull it off. Should be pretty east to get to, it's on the passenger side. When you get it out, clean any collected debris from it. Hopefull the blockage is in the tube itself and not the evaporator box.

Thanks for the info. I located the drain tube and used a small shopvac on it. Two seconds after turning it on something shot out of the vac’s exhaust then water flowed.

I never found what came out of it but there were a couple of yellow jackets in the shopvac along with a lot of water. It is working fine now.
