I have a 2007 Tacoma 4x4. The power steering is very stiff and I'm not quite sure where to start on the diagnosis. I do need to change the power steering fluid but I don't think that's the problem. Any advice or suggestions?

Welcome to TW! How old is the fluid? That could certainly make the steering feel like garbage if it's really old.

    Welcome!

I am assuming you checked the fluid level already? If so, my guess would be power steering pump. And just to rule out simple stuff, you’re not driving around in 4 wheel drive right?
