Hey everyone, just bought a new 2018 Tacoma and new to this forum. I'm in the market for a good cross-bar/roof rack system and I'm wondering what all of you have gone with? I've looked at the one they sell at the dealership and the only thing I like about it is its sleek/clean look and it uses the factory holes underneath the weather stripping on the roof. What I don't like is the 100lb weight limit that it comes with.

I started looking around a bit and I was shocked to discover that Thule doesn't make a cross bar system for the 3rd Gen Tacoma that uses the factory holes or even bolts to the roof itself. The Thule systems all use that method of gripping inside the lip of the door, which I'm not too fond of. They do have a much higher weight limit than the one they sell at Toyota, but still not sold on the idea.

And then I found a cross-bar system I actually liked! Rhino Rack! They sell a system that permanently bolts/rivets to the tunnel on the roof. Its a track system that they've designed so that the distance between the cross bars is adjustable, and the weight limit of the bars is 250lbs. That all sounds lovely doesn't it? Then I discovered that they don't actually sell Rhino Rack products in Canada...

So that brings me here! Hoping someone can help me out, point me in the right direction, or come up with a better idea!
