Just trying to make my decision. I really don't want to take my leaf springs off or pay a shop to do it. Wondering if helper springs are as good as an add a leaf?

What are you trying to accomplish? Carry heavier loads, lift, what?

Remove sag, carry heavier load, lift maybe an inch.

You might want to move this to the suspension section. You’ll probably get more responses. But if I were doing this, I’d just replace the entire pack with a more suitable one.

Helper springs will not give you any height. Or correct sag. Might help with a little extra load. Go with a three leaf aal from headstrong, wheelers, icon or deaver.

Helpers only help when load is added

They are quite useful if that's the goal.

They would not serve your described purpose.

This is the best option. My suggestion would be #2.
