Former Infantry, my M4 was my absolute favorite but the M249 is damn close when I rolled with that.

I have always been partial to the ole 50 cal and it's absolutely demoralizing, effective power of persuasion. Everyone knows it when they hear it.

Big ones are King suspension, SSO bumper w/winch, Pelfreybuilt sliders.
My buddies ol German Mouser from WWII is probably the coolest thing I've ever gotten to shoot. Still had the Nazi eagle on it and everything. Talk about history...

Other than that, our 5" gun was the most fun to watch. The whole ship would shake when it went off. Makes me wonder what it must've been like back in wwii on one of our battleships with the 16" guns! I love history though what can I say :p

    usually northwest of you
    Vehicle:
    2006 4-door prerunner long bed
3" suspension lift, hard canopy, light bar in hood, ditch lights, aircraft cargo bars, powdercoated steel spares, desert tires, bed cargo bars (for rifle cases), misc interior doo-dads
small arms? doesn't sound very impressive, but I've always loved the M4
M134, Mk47 AGL, and Mk46 are also very good. and the 2010 is pretty good for a long rifle

but I still love the M4

Other then the truly big stuff, watching a Javelin hit is pretty cool. Never got to see any in combat but did get to see a couple of my gunners (additional duty as the company trainer) fire them off.

if you enjoyed the javelin, then you'd love a switchblade

an adjacent unit got them right after we did and they kept running them into the dirt, unspent

so, they sent a couple of their not-really-that-dumb dudes over to us to see what we were doing to be successful. so they gave us one of theirs, we launched and then terminated on a target.

they were astounded, how do you get it to do that?

bro, it's easy. launch, guide, select, terminate.

turns out they didn't know how to arm it. "that was it? that's all we had to do?"

they didn't read the manual, they just got the weapons in country and did monkey-see-monkey-do with a contractor

after some cajoling they told us how many they used up trying to figure things out

    thirteen.

they drove thirteen into the dirt because they didn't read and carried an ego

they're spectacular though, like having a miniature hellfire

anyhow, I was reminded of those today.

when I drove by the Orbital ATK facility. lol.
