Actually, I wanted to ask OP, have you heard anything about the aluminum tariff affecting pricing? Since I went in on April's GB (#8 I think) I don't think we were affected. Just curious how it would work going forward.

    That's good to hear.

I've got a pile of stuff just waiting to be mounted to the panel.

My only decision is whether to paint or powder coat?

Aluminum prices did go up and I raised the prices slightly. I'm not sure if that was tariff related or not though.

I went vanilla, no PC. Since it is something that will never be seen 99% of the time, it doesn't matter to me. Plus, since you are removing/attaching bags, placing items in front of the panel, stuff gets worn, scratched etc. Plus it is aluminum..will never rust.

PC'ing, IMHO, did not make sense on this.

    Understood. Just was curious.

It is still a great piece and I am sure I would still fork over the dough regardless of price. Tomorrow afternoon cannot come soon enough. :goingcrazy::goingcrazy::goingcrazy:

    Makes sense.

However, I have an Access Cab, and the panel will be seen. I will probably just paint it, as it won't see much abrasion since all the pouches will be protecting/covering the panel.

how did you guys move the power window cable on the drivers side? I can't get the panel to screw in because of the cable.

In that case, all of 9 should’ve been delivered already.

So I got these in today. Fit beautifully. I do think I'm going to have to get some breathable foam more the vent thing and of course some pouches! I also managed to screw up one of the seat latch threads and need to figure something out.

Chase the threads and you'll be right as rain. don't force the fastener.

Also, those threads gall super easy. If you can avoid using power tools, do. Hand tools, slow and steady turns.
